Nash Painting has a rich history from 2004, when our founder, Bill Nishanian, started his first professional painting company in Michigan. However, it wasn't until 2009 that Bill and his wife Kristin answered the call to move to Nashville and start Nash Painting.
At first, Bill took on small projects from Craig's List with no intention of growing beyond a one-man operation. However, as he began to paint homes and businesses in Nashville, he quickly realized that there was a lack of painters in the area who were focused on craftsmanship. Word of mouth spread, and the company grew rapidly, doubling yearly for about five years.
Today, Nash Painting is one of the largest non-franchise painting companies in middle Tennessee, focusing on providing a process that strikes a balance between ensuring that our projects last a long time and limiting time and money on areas that most people do not notice or care about. We have worked hard over the years to improve our systems and procedures as we've grown, all while maintaining the durable, long-lasting outcomes we have always known for.
If you need professional commercial or residential painting services in the Nashville area, Nash should be your first call. We are confident that our team of skilled painters will exceed your expectations and deliver the long-lasting results you desire.
At Nash Painting, we pride ourselves on our comprehensive and streamlined process, ensuring every project goes smoothly from start to finish. Here's a step-by-step guide to what you can expect when you work with us:
We are confident that our process will provide you with a seamless and stress-free experience, leaving you with beautiful, long-lasting results you'll enjoy for years.
At Nash Painting, our ultimate goal is to make the paint on your home or business durable, long-lasting, and deliver a great experience. We understand that every project is different, so we don't set deadlines for our crews. We won't leave your project until it is finished; however, we prioritize our proven process over speed and never skip steps or take shortcuts.
Our teams are dedicated to following the Nash Painting Process, which produces durable results on every project. We know that to succeed is to ensure our customers are completely satisfied or we will do whatever it takes to make it right. We are confident that once you experience the professionalism and reliability of Nash Painting, we will be your painter for life.
In addition to our commitment to durability, we prioritize convenience and reliability. We aim to accommodate your schedule and show up when we say we will. We hold ourselves accountable to high standards of honesty and integrity vowing to never lie, steal, cheat, or deceive in any way. We avoid the word quality in our literature because that means a lot of things to different people. Trust Nash Painting and experience the difference working with a local family team that values honesty, reliability, durability, longevity, and an outstanding customer experience. That is our definition of exceptional quality.
During a 20-day prayer and fasting period with our church in 2010, one of my focuses was clearer guidance on steering Nash Painting toward excellence and growth. One night, I woke up and heard God say, "Pray on the floor in a spare bedroom dormer." After about 30 minutes on the floor in the dormer, I questioned if I'd misheard God. But then, noticing the lamp on the table was missing a bulb, I heard God's voice say, “This is what your company is like.”
I prayed for understanding over the next several weeks and discovered that I needed to declare God's authority over my business just as in my life. I'd seen individuals misuse faith as a marketing strategy, which led me to deliberately exclude mention of my faith, fearing it would be misconstrued. However, God intervened dramatically, showing me His blessings flow abundantly when we glorify Him.
My previous fear of judgment was a mistrust of God. Since that realization, we've witnessed His guidance, blessings, and favor on our company and clients. This isn't about financial gain but giving credit where it's due. It's not a prosperity gospel but a testament to a deeper relationship with Jesus that brings true life and life more abundantly.

At Nash Painting, our ethos extends beyond the conventional goals of a business; it's not solely about financial gain. We see every team member, from leadership to new recruits, not just as employees, but as family members. Our culture is built on the foundation of kindness, compassion, integrity, and a heartfelt concern for the well-being of everyone we connect with, whether within our team or outside it.
We approach our work with a sense of purpose that transcends everyday business. To us, our work is a form of ministry, a calling we embrace as Christians. Our team is diverse; some follow the Christian faith, others do not, yet we are unified in our sincere love for people and a shared desire to embody the love of Jesus in every interaction. This love extends to our clients, colleagues, vendors, and suppliers.
We're committed to being a positive force in the lives of those we touch, dedicating significant time each week to not just perform a job but also to be a source of blessing and inspiration. Our work is our platform, enabling us to pray with and for others, to witness the joy of divine blessings enriching lives, and to actively participate in the larger community.
A substantial part of our profits fuels our mission outside the confines of our business, supporting ministries, aiding community services, and acting as the tangible expression of Jesus' love and service. This approach might defy mainstream business practices, but we follow the example set by Jesus: countercultural, compassionate, and dedicated to service.
At Nash Painting, service is our passion, people are our priority, and excellence is our pursuit. We don't just love what we do; we cherish the opportunity to do it with the highest standard of care, compassion, and excellence. We're here to serve, love, and positively impact every life we touch.

Narrow Gate Lodge offers a transformative experience for young men ages 18-25. Lodge participants live and work together while pursuing biblical training, personal discipleship, challenging adventures, and new life skills. During their 6-8 month stay, young men pause from the distractions of daily life to discover who Jesus says they are and their calling for the future.
(Ephesians 6:4 CEV) "You must obey your earthly masters. Show them great respect and be as loyal to them as you are to Christ. 6 Try to please them at all times, and not just when you think they are watching. You are slaves of Christ, so with your whole heart you must do what God wants you to do. 7 Gladly serve your masters, as though they were the Lord himself, and not simply people. 8 You know that you will be rewarded for any good things you do, whether you are slaves or free."
In other words we always strive to do the right thing, even when it is good or bad for the bottom line. Good work and a good reputation are important among our peers and in our community, but God knows all and he is the one we are trying to impress.
