Wallpaper removal: how it works

How it's priced: Schedule your estimate and tap what you want painted to see a ballpark first. Your estimator reviews and certifies the price. Most bids are written before your estimator leaves. Larger, more complex jobs take 24 to 48 hours.
Your written bid: Nothing is final until you approve the written bid. Adjustments always come with a reason and a photo, in either direction.
Warranty: Paint work: Value 2 years, Premium 10 years, Premium Plus 10 years. The term for your job is written on your bid.
Lifetime touch-ups: With Premium Plus only
Deposit: No deposit. You pay when the job is done right.
Holdback: You can hold back up to 20% of the price for any unresolved quality issue until we fix it.
Who does the work: Nash Painting is fully insured. Certificate of insurance on request. One crew lead runs your job from the first day to the final walkthrough.

The details

What's under the paper

Taking wallpaper down usually tears some of the drywall's paper face, and old adhesive left on the wall shows through paint. So the job doesn't end when the paper is off: we wash off the adhesive, repair torn spots, skim-coat where the surface needs it, and prime.

Then paint

Most people paint the room once the paper is gone. We can do both, and your bid lists the removal, the repairs and the paint together.

No deposit. Pay when it’s done right.

Nothing up front: There is no deposit. You pay when the job is finished.
Hold back until it’s right: You can hold back up to 20% of the price for any unresolved quality issue until we fix it.
Warranty up to 10 years: Our warranty runs up to 10 years, depending on the package and the service: Premium and Premium Plus paint work carries 10 years, Value carries 2, and lifetime touch-ups come with Premium Plus.
You approve the bid first: Nothing is final until you approve the written bid. Read the warranty and our policies
